Chief-of-Staff-Level Support for Founder-Led Work
I work with women who have built real responsibility — for companies, platforms or complex bodies of work — and who are now operating at a level where decisions carry weight.
You already know how to lead. You’ve proven you can build, grow and perform.
But as the work expands, something shifts.
The visibility increases. The consequences sharpen. The margin for error narrows.
And suddenly, the challenge isn’t what to do — it’s how to decide clearly and trust yourself when everything matters at once.
If your threshold is not about tactics or execution, but about decision-making under pressure, this partnership is designed for that.
About my role
I’m Amanda Bray.
I work as a Fractional Chief of Staff and executive partner for women leading founder-led businesses and high-stakes work.
I don’t step in to manage, direct or override your authority.
My role is to:
reinforce your confidence in your own judgment
help you see the full system you’re operating within
surface blind spots without destabilizing you
and support decisions that hold up under pressure, scrutiny and time
I’ve spent nearly two decades working alongside authors, founders and public-facing leaders in environments where what someone says — or decides — carries real professional consequence.
I’m also a certified meditation instructor with a long-standing contemplative practice. This shapes how I listen, where I look for opportunities and how I help leaders steady themselves when noise is high.
This is not mindset work or spiritual coaching. It’s discernment, synthesis and steadiness applied at the executive level.
The nature of the work
This partnership is designed for leaders whose decisions cannot be outsourced.
I’m especially effective when:
a leader’s identity, reputation and livelihood are intertwined with what they’re building
multiple viable paths are available, each with real tradeoffs
the cost of misalignment or second-guessing is high
borrowed frameworks no longer apply
The work centers on clear seeing — not advice for its own sake.
What I support
This work supports decision-making when the stakes are real — not execution, templates or operational outsourcing.
The scope commonly includes:
Decision clarity under pressure
Supporting you to make grounded choices when timing, visibility and consequence converge.
Whole-system perspective
Holding revenue, team dynamics, visibility, capacity, risk and long-term direction as a single system.
Blind-spot identification
Naming what may be invisible or unarticulated — without eroding confidence or momentum.
Translation of instinct into action
Helping internal knowing become decisions that can withstand real-world conditions.
Containment during growth or instability
Serving as a steady external thinking partner when pace or pressure increases.
This work often mirrors the scope of a Chief of Staff role, adapted to independent or founder-led contexts where the leader themselves is the system’s center of gravity.
How partnerships work
Integration means: I’m close enough to the moving parts to support real decisions (context, tradeoffs, sequencing, and coordination), not to take tasks off your plate.
Most executive partnerships begin with a 90-day embedded engagement.
This initial period allows us to:
build shared context
establish trust
and determine whether this level of partnership is genuinely useful to you
The standard starting container includes:
Weekly standing decision sessions (60 minutes)
Confidential sessions that are recorded and transcribed into a searchable decision log. This gives you durable executive-level documentation — what we decided, why and what happens next—without adding unnecessary follow-up labor to our work together.
Async Voxer access for time-sensitive questions, reflection and decision support
Full integration into your business and decision-making life during the engagement period
This is not advisory check-ins. I work as an active thinking partner inside the reality of what you’re carrying.
When this is not the right fit
This work is not a fit if you’re looking for:
coaching, motivation or mindset work
operational task execution or delegation
team management or internal role replacement
prescriptive frameworks or playbooks
one-off advice without sustained context
This partnership works best for leaders who already carry authority — and want support without surrendering it.
Investment & structure
Investment begins at $5,000 per month | 90-day minimum commitment | $15,000 total for the initial engagement
After the initial 90 days, partnerships may:
conclude cleanly
continue month-to-month
or evolve in scope
There is no expectation of ongoing work beyond the initial term.
Availability & next steps
Executive partnerships are intentionally limited to preserve depth and continuity.
If you’re navigating a period where:
the decisions matter
the work has outgrown your internal support structure
and clear judgment is essential …
you’re welcome to reach out.
Initial conversations are exploratory and focused on fit.
